Kadiri (Anantapur): The police on Thursday recovered 1,170 gelatin sticks and detonators in a car during routine checking of vehicles on the outskirts of Kadiri town.
A couple of youth including the car driver fled abandoning the car while the police were carrying out the searches. The police took possession of the vehicle and the explosive material in it. A case was registered.
