A 23-year-old software engineer has gone missing from the past four days in Chennai.

A native of Thorrur in Nellore, Kancharla Venkat Sai Teja had completed BTech from SRM University in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and began working in MindTree at Chennai branch as a senior engineer.

He stayed with his friends at a rented residency in Neelankarai. He went out on his motorbike on Saturday evening but didn't return back. Following which, his friends lodged a police complaint. After learning that Venkar has gone missing, his parents reached Chennai.

The police found Venkat's slippers at the beach but have been unable to trace him.
