Two killed, one injured in bike collision

Two people were killed in a tragic accident in East Godavari district on Sunday when two bikes for opposite directions were involved in a head-on collision.

The mishap occurred near Vetamamidi power sub-station at Addateegala mandal of the district. Another person sustained injuries in the accident and was shifted to a nearby hospital by the locals.

The deceased were identified as Kunche Sravana Kumar and Pudigi Prabhakar, both belonged to Etipalli village of Gangavaram mandal.

The police have registered a case in this regard.
