They have conducted a similar camp with the help of IMA, APNA and Seven Hills Hospitals on Sunday at the village.

Tirupati: District Medical and Health department has conducted a medical camp at Bathalavallam in Varadaiahpalem mandal on Thursday. It may be recalled that the village had more prevalence of viral fevers. They have conducted a similar camp with the help of IMA, APNA and Seven Hills Hospitals on Sunday at the village.

In all, 229 patients availed medical services at that time. Keeping in view of the severity of the situation, another camp was held on Thursday. Physicians and Pediatricians from SVR Ruia Hospital in Tirupati have participated in the camp and provided medical treatment to the patients.

Several patients were administered fluids and given the necessary medicines. District Medical and Health Officer Dr Aruna Sulochana Devi, District Coordinator of Hospital Services (DCHS) Dr Saralamma, DMO Dr Srinivasa Rao, Dr Vijaya Kumari, Dr Sudarshan, DEMO Nirmalamma among others participated in the camp.

The doctors also went around the Kambakam village PHC and conducted awareness about medical camps. A rally was also organised to create awareness on the viral fevers. At Varadaiahpalem PHC, they verified the records and inspected the labour room.
