Kurnool: YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday assured that his governance would bring smile on faces of farmers by taking appropriate steps. Stating that the present government adopting anti-farmer policies, he said that the promises made by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu just remained on paper and never be fulfilled.

On Wednesday, the Jagan'sPrajaSankalpaYatra passed through Gonegandla, Ayyakonda Cross road, Ganjahalli and Agraharam village
in Yemmiganur Assembly constituency. Addressing the gathering at Ganjahalli village, Jaganmohan Reddy accused Chandrababu Naidu of betraying the trust of AP people.

Stating that no section of people happy with Naidu's rule, he questioned,“Who is happy in AP and why should we tolerate Naidu any longer.” Promising to provide free power supply to poor up to 200 units per month and assured to build houses to homeless poor at free of cost, Jagan said if the YSRCP government is formed, they will make systems that enable granting of pensions at the village secretariat itself and ration cards and tap connections will be settled within 72 hours after receiving the grievance.

Jagan also promised to self-help groups women that he would settle their loans in four installments after his party voted to power. While on his yatra, the model school guest teachers met Jagan and poured their woes. They said that they are facing dire consequences from giving demo at every academic year. The model school guest teachers appealed him to exempt them from the demo classes.

The villagers of Ganjihalli said that they have to travel around 5 kilo meters to fetch water and appealed to Jagan to save them from this problem. Another woman farmer Hanumanthamma said that they had raised cotton crop in an extent of 10 acres and got poor yield.

With the poor yield, it is not possible to get back the invested amount and urged Jagan to see that they are extended with input subsidy from the government. On hearing of all these problems, the YSRCP chief urged them to teach a befitting lesson to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the ensuing elections.
