Former Minister Madala Janakiram dies due to heart ailment
Former Minister and senior Congress leader Madala Janakiram passed away on Wednesday due to heart related ailment while he was being shifted to KIMS in Hyderabad.
Nellore: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Madala Janakiram passed away on Wednesday due to heart related ailment while he was being shifted to KIMS in Hyderabad.
He was elected as legislator from Udayagiri constituency in 1989 from the Congress party and had been inducted into Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy’s Cabinet as Minister for Housing. He played active role in the party and in public life.
He was admitted into a corporate hospital here for some heart related ailment and the family members planned to shift him to Hyderabad for better treatment as there was no progress in the condition.
He was initially moved to Renigunta airport where a special ambulance helicopter was engaged to take him to Hyderabad, but he died on the way while being shifted. Then the body has been shifted to his guest house in Nellore.
