Dredging Corporation of India Limited
Rajya Sabha member and YSR Congress Party core committee leader V Vijayasai Reddy assured the employees of the Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) and officers that with the support of other opposition parties, the YSRCP would make efforts to stop the Bill for privatising DCIL in Parliament.

Along with the other party leaders, Vijayasai Reddy on Thursday visited the DCIL and interacted with the employees who were agitating to stop the privitisation of the public sector organisation. The MP paid glowing tributes to N Venkatesh who committed suicide demanding the Centre not to privatise the DCIL.
Vijayasai Reddy said that he had already raised the issue in the previous sessions of Rajya Sabha and the Union Minister assured them that the DCIL would continue to be in the public sector. Even the Minister has given assurance in Parliament, the was government trying to privatise the PSU, the MP lamented.
However, with the support of the other members, the YSR Congress would fight in the House to stop the privatisation of the DCIL in the coming sessions to be started from December 15.
The chief minister has been looting Government assets of the public-sector organisation and presenting them to the MNCs, Vijayasai Reddy alleged. YSRCP Opposition leader in the Legislative Council UmmareddyVenkateswarlu, party leaders Tynala Vijaya Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
