Kakinada: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders wrote a letter to the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, seeking permission for their hunger strike against the oil mafia issue here on Friday.

The city BJP activists and leaders said that their district president Y Malakondayya, would go on a hunger strike on Saturday at Collectorate here seeking a complete and impartial investigation in the oil mafia’s activities in the Kakinada port.

They asked the SDPO Kakinada, to give a nod for their district president’s hunger strike and further asked the police to provide security to their leader Malakondayya, and other BJP leaders and activists, who participate in the hunger strike.
