The Superintendent of Police presided over the crime review meeting with DSPs, CIs, SIs at the District Police office here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, the Superintendent of Police directed the officials to upload the crime information through Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System (CCTNS) and take immediate action on the information received on Dial 100 number.
The Superintendent of Police directed the police to implement the non-bailable warrants (NBW) in the circles and for this teams should be established. He also directed the officials to complete the investigation of various cases as early as possible.
He suggested to the officials to create awareness on the Locked House Monitoring System among the people and the Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors should supervise the LHMS.
He directed the police to install CCTV cameras at main centres and at the police station areas and synchronise those cameras to Crime Control Room. DSPs K Eswara Rao, Ch Murali Krishna, N Venkatewara Rao, T Prabhakara Babu, Vijaya Sekhar, Pydeswara Rao, Srinivasa Rao, T Satyanarayana, M Srinivasa Rao, SB CI S Kondala Rao and others participated in the review meeting.
