Strive to meet social needs: Vice-Chancellor to researchers
A national workshop on ‘Research methodology in social sciences’ was jointly organised by the Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU), Commerce department, and Indian University, New Delhi.
Anantapur: A national workshop on ‘Research methodology in social sciences’ was jointly organised by the Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU), Commerce department, and Indian University, New Delhi.
Vice-Chancellor Prof K Rajagopal, who was the chief guest, has congratulated the Commerce department for conducting the workshop in the context of the varsity giving importance to research.
The V-C stressed that a researcher should strive to meet the social needs. He said the workshop would pave the way for researchers excelling in their respective areas. Dr S Galib, Director, CESS Hyderabad, was the main speaker.
Among those present were Dr Amarendra Phani, Deputy Director and in-charge of varsity’s Research division, Arts College Principal Prof S V Pulla Reddy, who presided. Coordinator Prof A R Ramana, Prof Sridhar, and Prof Shobalatha.
