TDP Supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is learned to have posted a tweet around 7 am today morning paying tribute to RSS founder Veer Savarkar on his death anniversary.

He tweeted, "Humble tributes to the legendary freedom fighter, Veer Savarkar Ji, on his death anniversary."

However, the tweet is said to be unavailable now leaving many wondering as to why the tweet was deleted.

Speculations are rife that Chandrababu might have deleted the tweet due to TDP’s strained relations with ally BJP lately.

Veer Savarkar, who is held in high esteem by the BJP is said to have coined the term 'Hindutva’.

Savarkar is also deemed as a ‘freedom fighter’ but many opposition parties particularly the Congress state that he wasn't a supporter of India's independence movement proving he was no freedom fighter.

Several BJP leaders paid Savarkar rich tributes on the anniversary of his death today.
