Tirupati: The prime focus will be on sanitation during this year annual year Brahmotsavams in Tirumala, said TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal.
During the weekly review meeting with senior officials' held in theconference hall of TTD Administrative Building here on Monday, the EO directed the Engineering wing to construct more number of toilets in Tirumala and instructed the Health Officer Dr Sermista to take care of sanitation to the best possible level to cope with huge number of pilgrims expected to congregate on the holy Tirumala hills to witness the mega fete in the shrine.
The EO also directed Tirupati JEO P Bhaskar to negotiate with the concerned authorities of different States on sending their unique art troupes to perform during annual Brahmotsavams of Tirumala this year.
The TTD administrative head also reviewed on the replacement of Door Frame Metal Detectors (DFMDs), scanners, CCTV cameras, video walls etc. with CVSO A Ravikrishna.
The EO instructed the CVSO to come with a detailed security plan of all institutions, temples and information centres of TTD. The EO informed, there will be a review meeting on the arrangements of upcoming annual Brahmotsavams at Vontimitta of Kadapa district on
March 22 with TTD and district authorities. Tirumala JEO KS Srinivasa Raju, Special Officer N Muktheswara Rao, FACAO Balaji, CE Chandrasekhar Reddy and other senior officers were also present.
