Telugu Film hero and Congress Party senior leader Chiranjeevi, who has been maintaining distance from active politics, may resume his political career soon.

Strong speculations are doing rounds that the film star will join his younger brother Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena party and play the role of advisor. Unconfirmed reports said that Chiranjeevi is giving some political tips to Pawan who has been struggling to emerge as a leader in Andhra Pradesh.
Chiranjeevi has been away from active politics ever since he resumed film career from Khaidi number 150 film. He is also busy in film shootings in the recent times.
Leaders also said the chances of plunging into active politics by Chiranjeevi is remote as he was stayed away from attending Parliament session as an Rajya Sabha MP and his term came to an end recently. Chiranjeevi was also maintaining stoic silence on the ongoing fight for special status to Andhra Pradesh launched by all parties recently.
