Nellore: Government Whip and MLC Ahmed Sharif said that they were considering the name of the City Mayor Abdul Aziz for the city constituency. He attended Muslim Atmeeya Sadassu here on Sunday and said the ruling TDP has been striving for welfare of the Muslim population in the state. They will organise meetings in all districts.
He said the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would participate in the state level meet on May 14 in Amaravati and he would announce schemes for the welfare of Minorities.
He appealed to the Muslim community people to utilise welfare programmes being implemented by the state government. They would increase the amount of loans to the people. The Union Government had deceived the state and failed to allocate adequate funds for its development.
He appealed to the participants to support TDP. He said Jana Sena and YSR Congress parties would extend their support to the BJP in future and people have to understand their strategies.
MLC Beeda Ravichandra said they had constructed modern Shadi Manjil, Muslim Minority Junior College, Gosha hospital, masjids, and burial grounds for the community. He appealed to the community people to prepare plans for their own development which would be taken to the notice of the Chief Minister for further action plan.
Kadiri MLC Chand Basha said the state government has been allocating huge funds for development of Minorities even though it was facing financial crunch.
