Guntur: Collector Kona Sasidhar said that to make the own house a reality, the state government is constructing the houses in a big way in the state. He was addressing a programme to mark the mass house warming ceremony at Gorantla village in Guntur district on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that three lakh houses were inaugurated across the state. He urged the eligible to avail the facility provided by the government. He said that 24,000 houses were inaugurated in Guntur district.
He further stated that the government allotted 48,000 houses in the urban areas and 91,592 in the rural areas in the district. He further said that they will construct a satellite town ship at Vengalayapalem in Guntur city to provide houses to 10,000 beneficiaries soon.
He further said that another town ship will come up at Adavitakkellapadu to provide houses to 4,000 beneficiaries. MLA Ravela Kishore Babu said that the government will construct another 19 lakh houses in the state by the end 2019.He said the government is sanctioning houses to all eligible.
Guntur Municipal Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar said that the government will construct two townships and provide housing facility to 14,000 to beneficiaries in Guntur city soon.
