Chittoor: Excise and Prohibition Minister Jawahar alleged that YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy joined hands with Prime Minister Narendra Modi only to get relief from the criminal cases being faced by him. The Praja Sankalpa Yatra of Jagan is a trash which is being organised to get political mileage, he said.

Speaking to press persons here at District TDP Office on Monday, Minister Jawahar maintained that both Jaganmohan Reddy and Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan have nexus with BJP and are determined to tarnish the image of TDP government.

``They have no commitment for safe guarding the interests of the state. They are inclined to mortgage the welfare of the AP to the Central government. They never make any comments against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor they demanded Special Category Status to the state ” he ridiculed.

The Minister maintained that the turn out of people for Jagan’s meetings was stage managed in which the BJP has been playing a direct role for mobilising the party workers . He reiterated that Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu never compromised on the interest of the state with BJP government at Centre right from the beginning.“ Irrespective of the support or financial assistance from the Central government, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would certainly complete the construction of Polavaram and Amaravati historically, he stated .

Referring the crude comments of state BJP, the Minister lambasted state BJP chief Kanna Lakshminarayana alleging that he has no moral right to make any statements against the state government . The Minister has enlisted the achievements of the state in restricting the belt shops. District TDP president P Nani , Chittoor MLA D A Satya Prabha, Mayor K Hemalatha, MLC B N Rajasimhulu and others were present.
