Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Urban Development Authority chairman Ganni Krishna has asked the police department to control drunkards and others who are creating problems at Anna canteens.
He visited Anna canteen at government hospital here on Tuesday and enquired the people about the quality of food.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu introduced the canteens for the benefit of poor people to supply quality food along with breakfast for minimum price.
He directed the canteen organisers not to compromise on quality of food and said he would inspect the canteen frequently.
At present, as many as 500 people were getting food from the canteens, he added.
