ONGC's Kendriya Vidyalaya students excel in Sports
Two students of ONGCs Kendriya Vidyalaya have bagged gold, silver and bronze medals in All India Kendriya Vidyalayas 49th Sports Meet held in New Delhi and Bhubaneswar recently
Rajamahendravaram: Two students of ONGC's Kendriya Vidyalaya have bagged gold, silver and bronze medals in All India Kendriya Vidyalayas’ 49th Sports Meet held in New Delhi and Bhubaneswar recently.
The students are Venus Glory (11th standard) and Y Uthkala (12th standard).
Venus Glory won gold medal in the doubles lawn tennis and a silver medal in the singles in New Delhi.
Uthkala won a bronze medal in chess in the 49th All India KV Sports meet held in Bhubaneswar.
She was selected to represent ONGC KV in upcoming School Games Federation of their coaches for encouraging them.
ONGC Rajamahendravaram Asset executive director DMR Sekhar congratulated the students and said ONGC was committed towards promoting sports and lifting the standards of sports in the country.
ONGC conferred with Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar by Central government in the year 2014.
