Wealth out of waste exhibition begins by Maris Stella College in Vijayawada
A two day exhibition on Wealth out of waste, organised by the department of zoology of Maris Stella College in association with the students of second and third year B Sc and CBZ commenced here on Friday
Vijayawada: A two-day exhibition on ‘Wealth out of waste’, organised by the department of zoology of Maris Stella College in association with the students of second and third year B Sc and CBZ commenced here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Zoology department head Dr Japamalai said that the exhibition was organised to promote clean and green campus in the college, to maintain pollution-free environment and to have an attitude of not to waste things and conserve natural resources.
The students displayed more than 300 exhibits of creative and innovative models and objects that drew the attention of the students and staff.
The spectators were spellbound by the artistic designs and the richness of wealth from waste.
The students took pledge to embrace the slogan - Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Repair, Recycle and Reuse and to leave a legacy of live and let live.
