Guntur: Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan offered lemon juice to the farmers to end their one-day Deeksha at Uddandarayunipalem village under Thullur mandal of Guntur district on Saturday evening. The farmers have undertaken Deeksha demanding equal package to the island lands and assigned lands on par with patta lands on Saturday morning.

Addressing the farmers, Pawan Kalyan said that the government is not doing justice to the farmers according to Land Acquisition Act-2013. He assured that if the government causes injustice to the farmers, he will support the farmers and mount pressure on the government to do justice. He felt that there is no use in garlanding Ambedkar statue without implementing the Constitution and made it clear that Jana Sena is not related to any caste or any region. He questioned how much land is required to the government and said that if farmers are united they could stop forcible land acquisition.

The government is trying to build all offices in the state capital Amaravati. He expressed serious concern for dividing the farmers and demanded equal package for assigned lands on par with patta lands. He also demanded plots for all farmers at one place. He flayed that there are some lapses in the land pooling and sought Rs.10,000 per month to the Dalit farmers who lost their lands due to capital construction. He urged the government to construct state capital like people's capital.
