Vijayawada: Change in society was possible only through education and Amaravati would become the hub of higher education, said Dr G Viswanadhan, Chancellor, VIT University.

Addressing the students, the Chancellor of VIT inaugurated VIT-AP School of Business and the BBA Class 2018 attended by the students and parents and faculty and the university staff.

VIT AP School of Business (VBS) dean Dr S Jeyavelu welcomed the gathering and gave an overview of the programme, mentioning the unique features of the programme such as the 2+2 option with University of Michigan, Dearborn, where a student can go to UMD after completing two years of study here in VSB and BBA from UMD, said Jeyavalu on the occasion.

Dr Indira Parikh, former dean of IIM Ahmedabad, Dr Sandhya Pentareddy, executive director, Dr Sekar Vishwanathan, vice president, Dr D Subhakar VC and others were present.
