Vijayawada: Lekhya Bharani mesmerised the audience with her dance performance on Monday evening at the Cultural Center of Vijayawada and Amaravathi.
As part of culture promotional activity, the organisers arranged dance performance of Lekhya Bharani and her troupe.
Lekhya commenced with “Sivanandam” in Sindhubiravi ragam. The performance compressed with the foot work, expressions and quick and brisk moments of Lekhya, received appreciations from the elite gathering.
She also excellently presented another item “Trimurthy Vandanam” in Teental.
The team had presented ‘Thillana’ in four Indian Classical Dance formats namely Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Odissy.
This item was very much liked by the connoisseurs present there in the auditorium, wherein Nandini performed in Kuchipudi style, Jasree in Bharatanatyam forum, Krishna Sneha in Odyssey format and Lekhya in Kathak style.
This was inaugurated by Gangadhar Kumar, ED (Projects) APTDC. M Srinivasa Rao, Dr MC Das, Y Harichandra Prasad and others were also present at the time of inauguration.
