Vijayawada: PDF MLC V Balasubranayam participated in the meeting organised by Andhra Pradesh Government Colleges Contract Lecturers Association on the recommendations made by the group of MLCs at SRR and CVR College here on Sunday.

Addressing the gathering, the MLC blamed the government for not implementing the recommendations made by group of MLCs. He found fault with the government for its delaying tactics to implement the recommendations made by the group of MLCs on March 19.

He said the government had proposed the group of MLCs to discuss and come out with an action plan.

He recalled that the government asked the group of seven MLCs to pursue the matter pertaining to the junior lecturers and provide recommendations to the government.

He said the group of MLCs had sent recommendations to the government to implement them and do justice which would benefit the contract lecturers.

He said they had given four recommendations to the government to implement time scale to all the government contract lecturers who were working at present.

The other recommendations retirement age should be 60 years, all the contract employees should be paid 12 month salary and to conduct an examination and regularise the qualified lecturers and rest would continue as time scale lecturers, he added.

He demanded that the government implement the recommendations made by the MLCs with immediate effect.

Former MLC KS Laxman Rao, association secretary BJ Gandhi, president K Srinivas Yadav and others were present.
