Guntur: Rural police arrested an accused in motor bikes theft cases here on Friday and recovered four motor bikes from his possession. The market value of property they recovered is Rs 2.3 lakh.
According to Guntur Urban SP Ch Vijaya Rao, the accused Yamarti Sagar Babu, along with his friend Shaik Akbar Basha addicted to bad habits.
To get money for their habits, they were lifting the motor bikes in Guntur city.
While the accused Sagar Babu was moving suspiciously in Guntur city, Circle Inspector Sridhar Reddy took him into custody for questioning.
During the questioning, he confessed to the crime. The cops recovered four motor bikes.
