DG of State Disaster Response and Fire services department K Satyanarayana said the requests made by the stakeholders to enhance the renewal period of NOC from one year to five years or three years will be sent to the government for consideration
Vijayawada: DG of State Disaster Response and Fire services department K Satyanarayana said the requests made by the stake-holders to enhance the renewal period of NOC from one year to five years or three years will be sent to the government for consideration.
The DG on Monday held a meeting with the representatives of educational institutions, colonies, hospitals and factories etc at the head office.
They requested the DG to enhance the licence renewal period from one year to five years or three years as they had been facing problems to renew the NOC every year.
Speaking on the occasion, Satyanarayana said that the department was digitising the process and furnishing information online on renewal of No-objection certificates.
He further said the department was booking criminal cases on the fake NOC holders and added that the AP State disaster response and fire services teams had saved lives of 68 persons in the flood-hit Kerala and rendered dedicated services to the flood victims.
He said the department was implementing biometric attendance at the State head office and district offices and digitized all files in the head office, Vijayawada.
