PRTU leaders puts forth their demands to 11th PRC Chairman

​Vijayawada: The members of Progressive Recognised Teachers Union AP along with PRTU MLC, front floor leader Gade Srinivasulu Naidu met the 11th PRC chairman Asuthosh Misra at the Secretariat and gave a memorandum with recommendation to consider their demands here on Monday.
Srinivasulu Naidu said they had requested the 11th PRC chairman to consider their recommendations o that the minimum salary of the teachers should e Rs 43,180 according to the ration 1:9:06. They recommended considering Automatic Advancement Scheme of 4-8-12-16-20-24 years instead of 6-12-18-24 years and consider secondary grade teacher pay scale as Rs 43,180 – Rs 1,28,720, school assistant teacher pay scale as Rs 55,520 – Rs 1,59,950 and increase allowance to 100 percent.
They further demanded dearness allowance equal to central government. Consider house allowance of 30 percent for employees working at capital region of Vijayawada, Guntur and Tirupathi, Visakhapatnam municipal corporation schools, 25 percent at district head quarters, 20 percent at municipalities and 18 percent at village panchayats.
They further requested to consider three national tour packages and one international tour package in their service (LTC). Pay 100 percent travel allowance to physically challenged and provide Rs 24 lakhs as gratuity. Cancel CPS and provide PF facility to those employees. Increase group insurance slab 10 times. PRTU leaders Gaddam Narayana Rao, K Srinivasa Raju, S Mani, GV Ramakrishna, D Srinu and others met the chairman.
