Amalapuram (East Godavari): Amalapuram revenue, police, commercial taxes and disaster management departments conducted raids on two two fire cracker shops on Saturday for unauthorised stocking without licence.

The raids were conducted under the supervision of Amalapuram DSP AVL Prasanna Kumar and CI Ramakoteswara Rao and seized fire crackers stock worth Rs 10 lakh. The DSP advised traders not to sale fire crackers sans licence.
