The Dhone cops arrested six accused in a murder case of a ration shop dealer on Saturday and were sent to remand after producing them in the court
Kurnool: The Dhone cops arrested six accused in a murder case of a ration shop dealer on Saturday and were sent to remand after producing them in the court.
According to Circle Inspector Raja Gopal Naidu, fair price shop dealer Ramakrishna was hacked to death near Krishnagiri mandal headquarters on September 10.
Special teams formed to nab the accused. During search operations, all the accused were found loitering suspiciously at Lakkasagaram village in Krishnagiri mandal.
After taking them to custody and on interrogation, the accused confessed to committing crime.
The CI said motive behind killing Ramakrishna was an extramarital affair.
The deceased had an illegal affair with a woman, who is relative to the accused.
The accused warned Ramakrishna not to continue affair on several occasions.
Without heeding their warnings, Ramakrishna continued affair. Vexed with the attitude of the deceased, the six accused killed him, the CI added.
