Visakhapatnam: Navy Children School organised inter-school photography competition on ‘Water pollution and environment’ to create a platform for students to explore and throw light on the causes and issues related to water pollution in the form of illustrations.

The competition was opened to all schools from Classes VI to X and was conducted in two categories VI to VIII (Juniors) and IX and X (Seniors).

As many as 31 students from 10 different schools participated in the competition.

Commodore KS Noor, Vice- Chairman, NCS Management Committee, gave away the prizes to the winners.

G Gautham of Kendriya Vidyalaya-2, Nausena Baugh, secured first position while G Abhiram of Visakha Valley School stood in second position and Praneetha of Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar bagged third position in the junior’s category.

In the seniors’ category, K Tanushree of NCS Nausena Baugh bagged first place while DSV Pooja of Visakha Valley School secured second place and Aditya Raj of Visvodaya School stood in third place.
