Kadapa: Marketing Minister C Adinarayana Reddy gave a call to people to take active role in planting tree saplings.
Speaking after participating in the tree plantation programme at Nallaballi village in Muddanur mandal on Saturday, the Minister said people are facing respiratory related diseases because of environmental pollution.
Chief Minister has been making appeal to people to plant trees widely, he stated and appreciated the administration for taking initiative in intensifying tree plantation drive across the district.
The Minister urged the people to extend support for tree plantation by considering it as a social responsibility.
On the occasion, Adinarayana Reddy has assured people of connecting all villages with Muddanur mandal with roads by end of December.
Tahsildar Uday Kumar, MPDO K Manohara Raju and other officials were present.
