Vijayawada: BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao asked the leaders of Telugu Desam as to why they were worrying about Income Tax raids. Speaking to media persons here on Friday, he said that the legislators of Telugu Desam and ministers are making comments condemning the raids.
The Rajya Sabha member said that the TDP leaders should have welcomed the raids instead of blaming others. He said that the attitude of TDP MLAs indicate their guilty consciousness in their business activities.
He recalled that the Centre took steps to close nearly 3 lakh shell companies in the country. The two states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, are on the top in the country in corruption, he alleged.
