Rajamahendravaram: Aryapuram Cooperative Urban Bank Limited chairman Challa Shankar Rao has said that the bank’s centenary celebrations will be held on a massive scale at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram on Sunday.
Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa, ministers Adinarayana Reddy, K Kala Venkat Rao, AP Legislative Council deputy chairman Reddy Subramanyam, MPs, MLCs and MLA will participate in the celebrations.
Speaking to reporters at the bank here on Friday, he said the bank's turnover had increased to Rs 1,000 crore from Rs 595 crore on December 31, 2013.
The bank had 92,000 share holders and a customer base of 2 lakh which was the highest in the state.
The bank earned a gross profit of Rs 21 crore this year and a net profit of Rs 5.05 crore with the united efforts of bank directors.
The bank vice-chairman, Ayyala Gopi, directors NV Ramana, NBVK Raja, P Paramesh, PS Kumar, MA Fahim, S Srihari, MM Rao, BVVS Narayana, SVR Krishna, G Srinivas, GSS Murali Mohan, chief executive officer G Sudhakar and others were present.
