Tirupati: District Collector PS Pradyumna has congratulated P Harikrishna for winning gold medal at Mr Asia competitions held in Bangkok on September 27 and silver medal at Mr India contest at Rasipuram of Tamil Nadu.
Harikrishna met the Collector at RDO office here on Tuesday. It may be recalled that, earlier, the Collector had provided Rs 1 lakh financial assistance to Harikrishna for his training and participating in Mr Asia and Mr India competitions. His father, an agricultural labourer, belongs to Vadamalapet Mandal in the district and working at a gym for Rs 5,000 per month.
