2-day scientific expo concludes in Bhimavaram

Bhimavaram: Kakatiya Institute for Technological Endeavour (KITE) organised a two-day scientific exhibition on the institute premises here on Saturday and Sunday.
The event also covered Telugu, Hindi and English by setting up 450 exhibits on the first day. Bhimavaram divisional deputy education officer R Venkata Ramana inaugurated the expo on Saturday.
Lectures by experts in relevant fields organised on the occasion. G Renu (English), K Vijayalakshmi (Hindi) and Gopala Sarma (Telugu) delivered speeches on the subjects. Cultural programmes on three languages were performed.
On the second day, more than 500 models in Mathematics, Science and Social were exhibited.
Akkineni Krishna Kishore, secretary and correspondent of Kakatiya educational institutions, who organised the expo said that the programme was coined to inculcate scientific temper among the students apart from improving skills in languages.
The school directors, K Krishna Rao, Ramesh, Dorababu, teachers and others participated in the two-day programme.
