4 students selected for Stanford fellowship
Four students of SRKR Engineering College were selected for University Fellowship Programme at Stanford University USA, said the college principal Dr G Parthasaradhi Reddy here on Monday
Bhimavaram: Four students of SRKR Engineering College were selected for University Fellowship Programme at Stanford University (USA), said the college principal Dr G Parthasaradhi Reddy here on Monday.
He said that A Sai Chandana, studying in third year ECE, Bhupathiraju Surya Subbaraju of second year Mechanical, N Rohini of third year IT and N Lavanya of third year IT were selected for the fellowship programme.
He said that 358 students would participate in the fellowship programme from 16 various countries from across the world. He said that Google and Microsoft would support the fellowship programme.
The students would be taught on innovation, developing entrepreneurship skills apart from holding a workshop.
The college technology centre head Dr N Gopalakrishna Murthy said that the students were selected after qualifying in various online procedures organised by the Stanford University for the last six weeks.
The selected students would participate in a 15-day Fellowship programme held in March 2019.
