Vijayawada: Union minister for commerce and industry and civil aviation Suresh Prabhu here on Tuesday said that the Central government played important role in the state’s development. He released the pamphlet of Intintiki BJP programme and a book containing 100 letters written by state party president Kanna Lakshminarayana. He also inaugurated the Vijayawada BJP parliamentary party office.
Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Prabhu said that the country registered impressive progress in various sectors owing to various welfare schemes and developmental programmes introduced by the BJP-led NDA government during the last four years. The Central minister also said that the BJP would come to power in the Centre again in 2019 elections.
Reacting on the state issues, he said that only BJP could construct Amaravati capital city. He said that the Centre provided international airport and also national-level universities to the state. Alleging that the state government was falsely claiming the Centre’s development works and schemes as its own, the Union minister said that the people would teach a fitting lesson to the TDP government in polls, he said.
State BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana said that the BJP was organising Intintiki BJP programme from December 1 to December 16 to explain huge number of welfare schemes introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to people.
Alleging that Chandrababu Naidu government had had indulged in rampant corruption, he said he had written 100 letters on the graft and failures of the TDP government. MP Gokaraju Gangaraju, former MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, BJP leaders Kilaru Dileep, Ch Kumara Swamy, T Nagabhushanam and several leaders were also present.
