Huge turnout of devotees at Shaivite temples
On the auspicious occasion of Mukkoti Ekadasi, Shaivites thronged temples at Srisailam, Omkaram, Ahobilam and Yaganti since early hours of Tuesday
Kurnool: On the auspicious occasion of Mukkoti Ekadasi, Shaivites thronged temples at Srisailam, Omkaram, Ahobilam and Yaganti since early hours of Tuesday. After having holy dip, devotees had Lord’s darshan. At Srisailam, the temple authorities have stopped issuing Arjitha Seva tickets to Suprabatham and Maha Mangala Harathi in view of huge turnout of devotees.
Riding on Ravana Vahanam, the presiding deities were taken out in a procession from Maha Dwaram to Veerabhadra Swamy temple. The devotees were delighted for having the divine darshan of the presiding deities. The temple authorities made all necessary arrangements to devotees. Even, the same turnout was also witnessed at Ahobilam, Omkaram and Mahanandi temples.
Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya accompanied with her family members offered prayers to Ahobileshwara Swamy at Ahobilam temple. District Collector S Satyanarayana also visited the temple at Ahobilam and had the darshan of Lord.
