Ongole: The management of the RISE Krishna Sai Engineering College announced that they organised a three-day workshop on ‘Numerical Relays and Protection of Transformers’ for the second, third and fourth year EEE students on the campus.

The vice chairman of the RISE Institutions, Siddha Venkateswara Rao said that the TCC Global Engineers Pvt Ltd from Nellore organised the work shop.

The college director Dr AV Bhaskar Rao said that the chief trainer of TCC Global Engineers, Sk Ameenuddin and his supporting team conducted the training programme.

The HoD of EEE, Prof Malleswara Rao said that the advanced technologies to protect the electrical transformers and prevent short circuits are discussed in the workshop and experimental training is provided to the students.

He said that this live experience will be helpful to the students when they are preparing for the government sector jobs, like APSEB.

The RISE colleges chairman Iskala China Rangamannar said that the theoretical knowledge is not enough for the present day students, and the work shop will help them to gain the required practical knowledge for best performing in the job opportunities.
