Guntur: District Collector Kona Sasidhar has said that the aim of the Janmabhoomi programme is to involve people in development.
He addressed Janmabhoomi-Mavooru programme held at Vengalala Rao Nagar here on Monday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that the all health centres were linked to Apollo and rendering corporate health services to the poor. He further said that the government had taken all the steps to check anemia.
He urged the poor to avail the medical services provided. For all the poor women, they had been conducting medical check-up free of cost and giving treatment.
He said that 150 Anganwadi centres were being developed as play schools. The government was rendering medical services up to Rs 5 lakh to the poor free of cost under the NTR Vaidya Seva for the convenience of the poor.
He said that he had directed the officials to solve all the petitions received in Janmabhoomi programme by January 11. GMC Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar was also present.
