Flower plants boost beauty of flyover
The flyover which was ignored for 20 years is being taken care of by the local body during the recent past The municipality had painted the flyover, conducted repairs to footpath and laid BT road and marked margins Now, it has set up flower pots on the footpath to give it a beautiful look
Bhimavaram: The flyover which was ignored for 20 years is being taken care of by the local body during the recent past. The municipality had painted the flyover, conducted repairs to footpath and laid BT road and marked margins. Now, it has set up flower pots on the footpath to give it a beautiful look.
The officials took up the measures as part of beautification and improved greenery. About 150 flower pots were set up on both sides of the footpath on the flyover. The pots were filled with red soil and compost to enhance the growth of the flower saplings. They had spent a sum of Rs 3 lakh on the task.
After the beautification work, the flyover appears attractive for the commuters and riders. They have been enjoying pleasant atmosphere with greenery around them. People have been appreciating the efforts of the officials.
