Guntur: Sankranti Sambaralu programme conducted in Sattenapalli on Friday under the aegis of Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao. Essay-writing and elocution competitions were conducted under the aegis of Dr Kodela Satyanarayana Charitable Trust in the schools in the Sattenapalli Assembly constituency.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao said that competitions will bring out innate talent in the students and merit students will be encouraged.
Later, he distributed cycles, lunch boxes and school bags to the students who participated in the competitions.
