Vijayawada: Rajamahendravaram urban BJP MLA Akula Satyanarayana joins Jana Sena party. Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan welcomed Akula into the party in Vijayawada on Monday.
Before that, Akula along with his supporters holds a massive rally in the city. Akula Satyanarayana resigned to the primary membership of BJP, and to the MLA post.
Akula sends his resignation letter to BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana and AP Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao through an email.
On this occasion, his followers and supporters joined Janasena party, by resigning to BJP. Akula expressed confidence that Pawan Kalyan will bring changes in the present political system. On the directions of Pawan Kalyan he will contest from any Assembly constituency, Akula said.
