Rajamahendravaram: YSRCP Central governing body member Jakkampudi Vijaya Lakshmi has said that a meeting would be conducted in the name of 'mahila swaram' on January 29 at the fruit market in Diwanchervu.
Speaking to reporters at the party office here on Thursday, she said that about 10,000 women would participate in the meeting across the state and women wing state president and Nagari MLA K Roja would address the gathering. As many as nine women of various fields would also be felicitated and 40 gates named after great women would be arranged at the venue.
Nava Ratnalu of the party was getting a good response from the people and they were eagerly waiting to see party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy as Chief Minister for their implementation. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was copying the schemes announced by YS Jaganmohan Reddy to capture power again in the State, which is not possible to him.
The meeting will discuss about the failures of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, she added. The people were not in a position to trust Naidu anymore as he shattered the dreams of the people. Naidu was trying to get political mileage by making allegations against Jagan but the people were not ready to believe them, she added. Party leaders Sri Lakshmi, M Sharmila Reddy, PV Lakshmi, RSP Rao, MLC PS Bose, N Srinivas and others were present.
