Vijayawada: The AP-CRDA and Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID) would jointly organise a three-day ‘Amaravati Designer Festival 2019’ at CK Convention, Mangalagiri from February 1, according to IIID Amaravati regional centre chairperson Pawan Suryadevara here on Saturday. A brochure was released on the occasion.
Addressing the media, Pawan said that the festival was aimed to bring designers from across the world as Andhra Pradesh was transforming as the destination in the field of construction and attracting investors.
He informed that Peter Rich, Norman Foster, Kamal Malik and Surya Kakani are a few among the participants who would participate in the festival.
He said that architecture students, those connected with real estate, builders and people of the capital region can visit the three-day festival and know the latest innovations in the field of construction and designing.
CREDAI Vijayawada chapter president Ramana Rao said that interiors plays a key role to build a world-class capital city and this designer festival would be of great help.
Designers from India and from across the world would participate in the thee day event, he added.
Representatives of designer organisations Mallik, Sandipani, BNI director Jai Desai and others were present.
