Chittoor: The 9th Additional Judge sentenced M Subramanyam (30), son of Ramakrishna Goud, to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 on Friday.
Subramanyam of Sivunikuppam village in V Kota mandal killed his mother Bellamma (65) on January 1, 2018 for refusing to give him money to drink liquor. The police registered a case against the accused in V Kota police station based on the complaint lodged by Ramakrishna, father of the accused.
