GUDA clears 1.1 cr riverfront works in Kakinada

Kakinada: The GUDA governing body cleared the Godavari Riverfront works at a cost of Rs 1.11 crore. A decision to this effect was taken at the governing body meeting organised here on Tuesday.
Addressing the board meeting, GUDA chairman Ganni Krishna said that with inspiration drawn from the recent study tour of Portugal, Spain and France this decision was taken in favour of Godavari Riverfront.
At first, the meeting reviewed the decisions taken at the previous meeting. The meet decided to install aircraft model at Kakinada beach.
The meet also decided to bring Neman, Tammavaram and Tondangi areas into GUDA fold from Petro Chemical and Petroleum Industrial Region.
The meet also decided to fix same fee for surveyors, developers and engineers. The meet asked the public to utilize the BPS scheme for regulating their constructions.
Vice-chairman Dr R Amarendra Kumar, board member Gatti Satyanarayana, chief planning officer G Ramkumar and others participated.
