Kakinada: In view of the proposed indefinite strike by AP Power Employees JAC, the Kakinada division authorities have been making arrangements for uninterrupted power supply in the mandals under its jurisdiction.
According to Kakinada APEPDCL divisional engineer N Udaya Bhaskar arrangements are being made in Kakinada urban, Kakinada Rural, Pithapuram, Peddapuam, Samarla Kota, U- Kothaopalli, Tallarevu, Pedapudi mandals for uninterrupted supply as the power employees served notice to go on indefinite strike from Friday.
The DE on Thursday said that they were making arrangements for collection of power bills in department counters.
However, the bill collection centers and Mee Seva will collect the bills as usual, he said.
“We requested the police to depute their personnel for security purpose at substations and at other key installations,” Udaya Bhaskar added.
