Kakinada: The week-long NSS camp of PR Government College (Autonomous) students concluded here on Monday. The camp was conducted under NSS unit 3 and unit 4 programme officers Krishna Prasad and Dr K Subhashini at Burma Colony and surrounding areas in Kotha Kakinada.

Students of the college actively participated in creating awareness on filaria, protection from mosquitoes, clean and green, health care and Swachh Bharat activities under guidance of the programme officers.

Dr Badam Balakrishna , chairman Kakinada Eye Foundation, Prof K Ashok, special officer, Adi Kavi Nannaya University, Dr Ch Krishna, principal of PR Government College addressed the student on various issues related to NSS activities and the service motto behind it.

They asked the students to participate in such activities frequently for better understanding of the needs of society and the role of youth.

Dr K Subhashini, programme officer proposed a vote of thanks at the concluding programme.
