Visakhapatnam: Andhra University Vice-Chancellor Prof G Nageswara Rao on Tuesday inaugurated the newly constructed kitchen building at research scholars hostel on varsity premises. Speaking on the occasion, the VC advised the varsity engineers to prepare a plan to construct a new floor above the dining hall and instructed them to complete the renovation and painting works of the hostel in the coming summer.
Hostel chief warden N Kishore Babu said the kitchen would provide food facility to 100 research scholars in the hostel. Prof M Prasada Rao, Chief Rector, Prof Niranjan, Registrar, Prof Vinod Rao, Principal, Science College, Prof Vajeer Ahmad, Dean, Prof Siddiramayya, Prof Umadevi and Prof Krishnamanjari, wardens, research scholars and hostel staff attended the programme.
