Gain command over election rules, officials told in Eluru
District Collector Praveen Kumar has asked the election returning officers and assistant returning officers to have better understanding of the election guidelines so that they can conduct polls foolproof
Eluru: District Collector Praveen Kumar has asked the election returning officers and assistant returning officers to have better understanding of the election guidelines so that they can conduct polls fool-proof.
He addressed EROs and AEROs here on Monday night. He reviewed changes in polling stations in all 15 Assembly constituencies in the district.
He instructed them not to give chance even for small mistakes in executing election duties.
He directed them to submit proposals without delay regarding any changes in polling stations. The same should be conveyed to concerned political parties also, he advised.
He directed the officials to ensure provision of necessary facilities in all the polling stations and check for improvements in the facilities.
The officials should respond quickly to the instructions received from the Election Commission and district election officer.
Joint Collector 2 BR Ambedkar, district revenue officer Satyanarayana, RDOs Chakradhara Rao, Mohana Rao, Satyanarayana, Salim Khan, EROs, AEROs of concerned constituencies were present.
